  • The spectra were obtained from a partially oxidized nickel surface and were fitted with the software AAnalyzer(R). The two components at lower binding energy (displayed in olive green) are associated with Ni2O3, the component at higher binding energy (displayed in purple) is associated with adventitious oxygen. Data included in a Master Thesis (Guzmán-Bucio, Dulce M. Mecanismo de oxidación de níquel metálico, Cinvestav, Querétaro).
